CORINTH, Miss.–This weekend Main Street Corinth Slugburger Festival will have a few big names competing in the eating contest.
Most notably Joey Chestnut according to the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal who is fresh off his record-setting seventh straight Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest victory on July 4th.
He will be trading in the hot dogs for slugburgers this weekend in northeast corner of the state.
Major League Eating will be sponsoring the World’s Slugburger Eating championship again this year according to the report and last year’s winner will be back in attendance who ate 30 of the burgers in ten minutes.
The event is free to watch and will be at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
