JACKSON, Miss.–It’s a good round of rain and thunderstorms state-wide by Friday. National Weather Service forecasts make it clear it’s time to batten down the hatches, with some stronger storms possible.
The storms start in the north and west and move in overnight Thursday into the early morning hours Friday. The rain is expected to keep temps down to around 80.
The storms are expected to last into Saturday night, but clear the state by Sunday morning.
