TUPELO, Miss. – The Tupelo Furniture Market is expecting another big turnout for their bi-annual trade show.
The upcoming event lasts from February 5 through February 8. President for the Tupelo Furniture Market, Kevin Seddon, says this year they are expecting over 15,000 to attend. Over 400 companies will be represented.
“The event is a trade event where manufacturer and importers – showcase their product to retailers who want to showcase their product in their store. So these retailers come from all over the country and from other countries as well. They’ll come here and pick a product they want to put in their furniture stores,” said Seddon.
Seddon says this year they’re expecting companies to come from as far as China and the Middle East.
Hotels within a 30 to 50 mile radius are expected to be full during the event.
