Mayor John Henry Berry is a fourth generation D’Lo native, and is described as “perhaps the most passionate, hands-on public servant in America.” If you’ve seen the UP TV production Small Town Big Mayor, you’ll understand. Mayor Berry looks to the past, as well as to the future, as he works day-in and day-out to revitalize a town that once held a booming population of 5000, and was home to a $1,000,000 sawmill plant in 1916 (that would be $22 million today).
