JACKSON- It’s CU at the Jackson Zoo on Saturday April 15. The Credit Unions of Mississippi are treating the first 2,500 guests to a free day at the zoo to celebrate Youth Savings Month.
April is National Credit Union Youth Month and the Credit Unions of Mississippi are celebrating by giving back to the community with free admission to the zoo. They’ll have activities and games, obstacle courses, bounce houses, and face painting available for everyone.
Don’t forget about the scavenger hunt for all guests who visit each credit union booth. One lucky winner will walk away with $250 in a cash prize.
“The Zoo provides the perfect venue for families to enjoy a fun day in nature, while also learning about financial literacy,” said Angela Mitchell, AVP of Marketing at Members Exchange Credit Union.
Toni Francis, the Jackson Zoo’s Special Events Manager said “We are excited to welcome back the Credit Unions of Mississippi for a 3rd Annual CU at the Zoo event. The zoo is a wonderful educational venue and we are glad they have chosen to host their event here and combine their efforts with ours to educate Mississippi’s youth.”
The zoo will take regular admission from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. and the first 2,500 guests to arrive will get in free.
