PASCAGOULA, Miss. – The Devil strikes again in Mississippi. This time it’s a Pascagoula man that says the evil one told him to stab his estranged wife.
Police say Darold Payne took a kitchen knife and stabbed the woman in her stomach, back and chest early Friday. She was taken to the doctor and is expected to be ok. Payne is in jail changed with domestic assault.
Earlier this year, a new site man was arrested for telling a Booneville library worker that he wanted to kill people there. He didn’t do it, but says the devil was encouraging him to. That man was given a mental exam and is waiting now to go on trial.
