A Texas arrest warrant has been issued for the man police say nearly beat an Ole Miss student to death back in September. Joshua Ramirez is charged with felony aggravated assault.
Carson Otter was at the Ole Miss – Texas football game when he got into an argument with Ramirez and another man in a car. Police say Ramirez walked up to Otter and punched him in the face. Otter fell; hitting his head on the curb. Doctors had to remove part of his skull to release pressure from his swollen brain; but he is expected to make a full recovery.
