With the fall and winter months just around the corner temperatures are dropping and it can have an effect on your tire pressure.
For every ten degrees that the temperature changes, the air pressure in your tires can lose one to two pounds.
Hal Mardis of Ridgeland Service center said that if you are unsure how to check your air pressure than you can take your car there, or any auto business and they can check it for you. Most places will also give you more air free of charge.
This is particularly important with such drastic changes in temperature lately. So make sure you’re watching the pressure and being safe on the road.
