An Aberdeen teenager has been placed into custody for a fatal shooting that took place in an Amory motel over the weekend.
Officers responded to the Ten-Tom Inn in Amory on Sunday just before 4:30 a.m. where they found a man, later identified as 32-year-old Hunter Dahlem, deceased from a gunshot wound.
The shooter was identified as 19-year-old Andrew Isaac Gray, who was placed under arrest and charged with first-degree murder.
Authorities have yet to confirm a motive for the shooting. Gray is being held in the Monroe County Detention Center.
