WARREN COUNTY, Miss.- After rolling through a stop sign this past Saturday, police tried to pull over 18-year-old Brandon Heath Pickering, but their attempt was in vain because Pickering took off and led the Warren County Deputies on a chase.
When the police boxed in Pickering, he rammed into the deputies car and got his car stuck in the process. The deputy he hit is doing fine and was treated for a wrist injury and later released from the local hospital.
Pickering has been charged with aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer and felony eluding.
