JACKSON, Miss.- A family’s home in Jackson got shot at in the early morning hours Friday. Police came to the house after they received a call that someone had shot through the living room and into the kitchen wall.
Around 1 a.m. the family discovered two shots had been fired into their house. There were several people in the home when the gun went off, but no one was injured.
Police told WLBT, the woman that lived in the home said that her daughter had been having problems with a girl that lived a few houses down the street and that she had received several threatening text messages from the girl, but once the officers went to the girl’s house she told them she didn’t know anything about the shooting.
