TUPELO, Miss. – Ted Cruz spent the day touring northern Mississippi with State Sen. Chris McDaniel.
The Texas Senator’s ‘Cruz Country’ bus tour started the day off with breakfast at Connie’s Fried Chicken in Tupelo.
State Sen. Christ McDaniel says, “Cruz’s values are Mississippi’s values, and Mississippi is essential to the 2016 primary election process.”
Cruz’s caravan then made its way north west to Olive Branch, where he spoke and had lunch at Sweet Pea’s Table.
The next stop for Cruz is Tennessee.
