GREENVILLE, Miss. — An argument with a customer ended in gunfire at a convenience store in Greenville. Makli Alani followed that customer outside and shot at their car.
No one was hurt, but Alani was arrested by federal officers shortly afterward. He was from Tanzanian and in the country illegally.
Alani was an exchange student at Devry University in Georgia, but his visa was not valid anymore since he stopped attending.
He is being charged in U.S. District Court in Greenville.
