JACKSON, Miss– Professional golf for more than just sport; the Sanderson Farms Championship at Jackson Country Club is bringing in the support for Batson Heart Clinic.
It’s an annual classic coming to the Jackson Country Club for the first time. The Sanderson Farms Championship is one of only 45 PGA tournaments in a year and has been on that list since 1968. In those years, 8 million dollars have been raised to benefit different charities in the Magnolia State.
This year’s line up has a few new names to the tour.
That’s Dixon Williams. He’ll be following the championship throughout the week for News Mississippi.
The Pro-Am continues through Wednesday. Championship play starts Thursday and goes on through the weekend.
