An arrest has been made stemming from a man being shot and killed while walking his dog in Yazoo City.
Police Chief Terry Gann reported that officers took Ladwell Japeth Roma Brown into custody on Wednesday. An anonymous tip led authorities to Brown’s location and police were able to take him into custody after a short chase.
The suspect had been wanted for capital murder, aggravated assault, and trespassing. He is accused of being responsible for the October 1 shooting death of Tyjuwan Wyatt who was allegedly walking his dog at the time of his passing.
Brown is currently charged with capital murder. No further details have been provided at this time.
