LEAKE COUNTY, Miss.–A wreck Sunday night about 7:30 killed three people in Leake County, along Hwy. 500, which is in the southern part of the county, near Lena. Four people were in the car when the wreck happened. The fourth person was taken to the hospital.
The Miss. Highway Patrol was not releasing much about what happened, and they did not say who the victims were.
WLBT reported the people killed were a mom and two kids. It was unclear if the fourth person involved, who lived, was a child or an adult.
In Jones County a wreck Saturday afternoon around 4 killed 19-year-old Issac Holloway near the Glade community.
The wreck happened on a county road. Holloway’s Dodge truck hit a Nissan Titan in a curve. There were few other details being released about the wreck. It is still being looked into.
