JACKSON, Miss.–Gray, cloudy and cold has been the story for a while now in Mississippi. But, the sun will shine again in the Magnolia State. But before that happens, it’s another round of rain and clouds and colder temps.
“We’ve just got to get through the next couple of days here and we’ll be on a positive trend,” said Brad Bryant, meteorologist with the National Weather Service.
He said there may be a few peeks of sun today in some areas by the afternoon. But, another storm system will bring rain by tomorrow.
“When that gets past us by later on tomorrow, we should finally see the clouds clear out and the weather should be more favorable through this weekend.”
Highs will also warm up by Friday into the 50s.
