JACKSON, Miss. – It’s been a bad couple of days for Mississippi, yesterday the magnolia state was named the worst economy in the country and now it’s been named the least safe state in the country.
Statistic website WalletHub looked at numerous factors like “most assaults per capita” and even the percentage of people who had rainy day funds.
Unfortunately for Mississippi, the state scored low marks in numerous areas like “lowest percentage of people with rainy day funds,” “high unemployment rate,” “fatalities per 100 million vehicle miles of travel” and “fatal occupational injuries per total employees.”
Mississippi did however have a low rate of “bullying.”
