Principal Dr. Todd Boucher at Pop’s Ferry Elementary School, in the Biloxi School District, has been named National Distinguished Principal for Mississippi.
NAESP honors outstanding elementary and middle-level administrators for setting high standards for instruction, student achievement, character, and climate for the students, families and staffs in their learning communities.
Before Dr. Boucher left for Washington DC to accept his award, the students wanted him to know how proud they were to have him as their principal, so they threw him a ‘parade of pride’. He said he gives credit to his teachers and staff at the school.
The 2018 National Distinguished Principals Program was October 11th – 12th, where Dr. Boucher met with the other principals around the country and receive their awards.
