The John C. Stennis Space Center, located in Hancock County, MS, is America’s largest rocket engine test complex. In addition to testing engines for NASA, they deliver tools for students and educators to learn and succeed in STEM: education in science, technology, engineering, and math.
NASA STEM Engagement strives to increase K-12 involvement in NASA projects, enhance higher education, support underrepresented communities, strengthen online training, and boost NASA’s contribution to informal teaching. The intended outcome is a generation prepared to code, calculate, design, and discover its way to a new era of American innovation.
