Southern Miss comes in at No. 18; Ole Miss moves up to No. 9

Once again, two teams from Mississippi are in D1Baseball’s Top 25 rankings.

For the first time this season, Southern Miss (19-8) cracked the rankings coming in at No. 18. Ole Miss (19-8) moved one spot up to No. 9.

The Golden Eagles took a crucial series from Louisiana Tech over the weekend, while the Rebels won two of three in Lexington following a mid-week win over North Alabama. Ole Miss and Southern Miss will go head-to-head on Tuesday night at Trustmark Park in Pearl.
