BILOXI, Miss. –The coast could get a music themed park called the Mississippi Sound.
Developer Glenn Miller met with Biloxi City Council members Tuesday, and showed them the blue print for his plans. It would be built on 1,200 acres of land Miller owns in a newly annexed area of Biloxi and could also include property in D’Iberville. There would be a hotel and convention center on the site, plus a flea market, golf driving range and amphitheater.
The area is already zoned for houses and apartments, but Miller says he’s trashed that idea, because the city doesn’t need any more housing.
