Officials are searching for an escaped inmate after he managed to break away during a trip to the local emergency room.
Terry Bynum, 44, was receiving medical attention at the Magee Emergency Room on Sunday when he escaped, according to the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office.
This isn’t the first time Bynum has escaped the custody of law enforcement. In October 2012, he broke away from a deputy while being taken from court to jail. In May 2013, he and two other inmates escaped the Smith County Jail before being captured one week later.
If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Bynum, you’re asked to contact the Simpson County Sheriff’s Office at (601)847-2921.
