CENTERVILLE, Miss.–JT Hughes was missing and had his family worried for a couple of days. A silver alert was issued Sunday by the Mississippi Highway Patrol and was canceled Monday morning when he was spotted.
Warren Strain, a spokesperson for the Highway Patrol, said Monday morning that Hughes was spotted in the woods by the pilot of an MHP helicopter. He was able to direct ground units to Hughes.

Hughes is 69, black, 5 ft. 11, 145 lbs., and was last seen in the Bond community in Stone County. He is from Centerville.
