It will be sunny today with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Tonight will be mostly cloudy and warmer with a slight chance of showers. Lows will be in the upper 50s.
We could be in for another bout of severe storms starting tonight. According to the National Weather Service in Jackson, the primary hazards will be hail up to the size of a quarter and damaging winds. The system is expected to move into northwest portions of Mississippi Wednesday night, spreading eastward into north-central and eastern Mississippi on Thursday morning and lasting through the afternoon.
