JONES COUNTY, Miss.- It was an argument that escalated, but this guy probably didn’t think he would go to jail for what he did next.
According to the police, the woman claimed she and Jonathan Bove got into an argument which escalated into Bove headbutting her, causing extensive damage to her face and body.
Jones County Sheriff Department responded to the call July 9, but it wasn’t until July 16 that Bove was taken into custody and put behind bars for assault.
The woman had to have surgery for a broken nose.
WDAM reported, Bove was booked into the Jones County Adult Detention Center and charged with felony domestic violence, aggravated assault.
Bove was later released under a $5000 bond.
