HATTIESBURG, Miss.–If you live along and south of I-20, you have the best chance of seeing a snow flurry today, but it likely won’t be anything that would have school canceled. Flurries were a possibility for almost every area in Mississippi.
With most places in the state set not to get out of the 30s, the precip could possibly be snow, or a very cold rain south.
Hattiesburg had a 50/50 shot at snow or rain. Central Mississippi had a 30 percent chance of a flurry and north Mississippi had a chance, as well.
No significant accumulations were expected.
North Mississippi had a continuing chance for flurries into Thursday evening, then again Friday night and again Sunday through Monday.
Temps were expected warmer everywhere else by Friday.
