Secretary of State Michael Watson is doing what he can to instill confidence in the election process. “We’ve got folks who will be all across the state today. We’ll be in roughly about 60 cities. I’m going to be traveling, going to precincts making sure we’re following election law. And I think that’s important for Mississippians to know,” he told SuperTalk Mississippi this morning during an interview on The Gallo Radio Show. “We want to return that confidence to our system,” he stated.
If you’re concerned about COVID, don’t let that keep you from heading to the polls. Watson told us election workers will be wearing masks today.
