The Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann stopped by the studio to discuss an odd request for voter information that he rejected by saying “they can go jump in the Gulf”. That response gained some traction in the news because it appeared that the MS Sec of State was fighting back against President Trump’s administration, but come to find out, the administration hasn’t sent a request for any such voter information. Sec Hosemann explains why he responded with “jump in the Gulf” and why he would be opposed to this request for voter information even if Ronald Reagan had asked for it!
