A Mississippi woman will spend 25 years in prison for plotting with others to kill a female in the Pine Belt.
Hattiesburg police in November 2022 arrested Shameka Hall for consulting with numerous hitmen in the area to form a plan to kill Ariunna Myers — who was allegedly in a relationship with Hall’s ex-boyfriend.
Authorities say the subject met with the hitmen between early August and mid November that year. She is also reported to have created fake social media accounts to stalk Myers online to find her location.
Hall is also accused of desiring to be an active participant in the murder, but she was taken into custody before the murder could take place.
A judge sentenced Hall to 40 years in prison. She will spend 25 actually locked up and the other 15 on probation.
