SaviLinx, a contact center specializing in customer service, business process outsourcing and technical support, is expanding its contact center operations in Hattiesburg. The project represents a corporate investment of approximately $354,000 and will create 231 jobs in addition to the 260 SaviLinx currently employs.

“SaviLinx’s decision to grow and bring hundreds of new jobs to Hattiesburg speaks to the strong business climate found throughout the Pine Belt Region, and it continues the exciting economic growth taking place in the Hub City,” said Governor Phil Bryant.

SaviLinx is investing in new equipment and facility improvements at its new Cloverleaf Center location, where the company is leasing 43,000 square feet of office space. The company’s employees provide customer retention, customer care, back office support and technical support services for premier government, financial services, hardware and software and e-commerce and retail companies in the U.S. and around the world.

“We are delighted to expand our presence in Hattiesburg with a new state-of-the-art contact center,” says Heather D. Blease, Founder and CEO, SaviLinx. “We are growing fast, and it makes sense to build right here where we have more than 260 work-at-home agents. The entire SaviLinx team extends our thanks to the Mississippi Development Authority, the Area Development Partnership, and everyone in Hattiesburg and Forrest County for their help and warm welcome.”

The Mississippi Development Authority is providing assistance for workforce training.

“SaviLinx is a valued corporate citizen to Hattiesburg and the state of Mississippi, creating new career opportunities for Mississippians in the Pine Belt Region by expanding its customer service center operations to ensure its clients receive the best service available,” said MDA Executive Director Glenn McCullough, Jr. “We salute our partners at the Area Development Partnership, Forrest County, the city of Hattiesburg and the Southern Mississippi Planning and Development District whose teamwork with MDA played a key role in this economic development win.”

SaviLinx currently employs 260 permanent agents and more than 500 seasonal agents in Hattiesburg. The company plans to fill the 231 jobs by the second quarter of 2019.
