Former Ole Miss guard Terence Davis is back in the NBA after spending the better part of the past two seasons in the G League.
Per a report from ESPN’s Shams Charania, the Sacramento Kings and Davis have reached a deal to bring the Southaven native back to the West Coast. Davis, 27, first played for the Kings from 2020 to 2023 after spending his first two professional seasons with the Toronto Raptors.

Reports have circulated that Sacramento brought in the familiar face in the aftermath of starting shooting guard Malik Monk suffering a left calf injury in a 127-117 win over the Detroit Pistons on Monday.
The Sacramento Kings are signing guard Terence Davis to a deal, sources tell ESPN. Davis, who played parts of three years in Sacramento from 2021-23, averaged 14.3 points on 40.2% 3-point shooting for the NBA G League’s Wisconsin team this season.

Davis most recently played for Milwaukee Bucks affiliate Wisconsin Herd, where he averaged 14.3 points on 46.5% shooting and 4.7 rebounds. The highlight of his lone season with the Herd was a March 24 matchup against the Grand Rapids Gold in which he had 44 points — 36 of which came from behind the arc.
As the Kings have locked up a spot in the play-in tournament ahead of the playoffs, Davis will have an opportunity to make a name for himself once again at the highest level of professional basketball.
