PRENTISS, Miss.–It was about 9:45 Saturday night at the intersection of Highways 13 and 84 in Prentiss when a police officer there was run over by a car. Police told News Mississippi that the man driving the car was Andreas Deone Shackleford of Hillsboro, Ala.
He’s on the run and is wanted on an aggravated assault on a police officer charge.
The Miss. Bureau of Investigation said Sunday that the officer who was hit was treated at a local hospital and released.
Shackleford is black, 5 ft. 7, and about 160 lbs.
