LAFAYETTE, La.–The Ole Miss Rebels could be on their way to the College World Series of baseball, if they can pull off one more win in the Super Regionals.
The Rebels beat Louisiana-Lafayette Sunday night 5-2, after scoring three of their runs in the eighth inning.
Game three will be Monday night. The Rebels lost the first game of the series Saturday when they fell 9-5 to the Ragin’ Cajuns, widely considered the best offensive team in the country.
