Ridgeland PD awarded $25,000 grant

The Ridgeland Police Department has been selected as one of 40 winners for the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Grant. 
The grant will go to help students throughout the Madison County School District by providing funds for school supplies, clothing and meals outside of school hours.

Some of the money will also go towards helping fund Kids Closets at Ann Smith Elementary, Olde Towne Middle School and Ridgeland High School.

The original Kids Closet in Ridgeland was as Highland Elementary, where the check was presented to Ridgeland PD on Monday.
