The reward for any information regarding the death of the death of 23-year-old Chelsie Lynn Kirschten has now been increased to $5,000
Kirschten was shot in the back while driving a Pontiac G6, sitting at a red light on Fortification Street near I-55. Crime Stoppers is offering a $2,500, and according to Glen Silverman, CEO of Mississippi Sports Medicine Orthopedic Center, they are also offering a $2,500 reward for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the person or persons responsible for this crime.
Police say an unidentified man approached the car and shot her. The car then drove off, just before stopping near I-55.

When first responders arrived Kirschten was pronounced dead at the scene.
