Representative Andy Gipson (Chairman of the Judiciary B Committee – Mississippi House of Representatives) stopped by the studio to break down the facts pertaining to HB1523, after the controversial law was upheld by a Federal Court late last week. Chairman Gipson runs down a list of several states have laws similar to HB1523, and he talks about how the affects of HB1523 have been blown out of proportion by some in the media. One example of fear mongering from left-leaning media has been to claim that a single-mother or homosexual individual would be denied the ability to pump gas, but Rep. Gipson points out that misguided assumption about discrimination simply isn’t true.
