Parents in the Magnolia State looking to provide their children with a fun-filled and educational summer are in luck.
Registration is now available for the Mississippi Museum of Natural Science’s CAMP WILD (Wander, Investigate, Learn, Discover), available to children in the PreK3 age range up to seniors in high school.
According to museum officials, CAMP WILD offers hands-on science, up-close animal encounters, outdoor adventures, and new friendships. Camps run from May 27 to July 18 and feature various themes, including Dino Week, Audubon Bird Camp, Field Camp, Adventure Sprouts, Jr. Naturalist Camp, Splash Camp, and Mad Scientist Camp.
“From hiking scenic trails to solving nature’s mysteries, these camps spark curiosity and foster a love for the outdoors,” Museum Director Angel Rohnke said.
Camp spots fill fast, and pre-registration is required, per officials. Parents and caregivers can assess details, pricing, and a camp video here.
