The 6’10 PF came to MSU as a five-star prospect out of Thomasville, GA and he led the Bulldogs in rebounding with 7.2 per game last season. During SEC play, Perry averaged over 11 points per game, and by the end of the season, he put up 9 double-doubles on his way to being named to the All-SEC Freshman Team.
After reaching the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2009, the Bulldogs lost Quinndary Weatherspoon, Lamar Peters and Aric Holman this offseason. Perry’s decision to return will help Ben Howland and the Bulldogs as they attempt to get back to the tournament this upcoming season.
