TUNICA, Miss.–This is the picture. A running car, in a parking lot. One person inside, a one-year-old, and he’s playing in the front seat where the steering wheel is. The parking lot was Bally’s Casino in Tunica, and you guessed it. The dad was inside playing the slots.
There’s a sign that says that if a child or children are found in the car unattended, that the police will be called, and that’s just what happened.
Martin Bass was arrested and charged with child neglect. The child was ok.
The Dept. of Human Services was also called, but WMC-TV reported it was unclear whether DHS took the baby.
