PEARL, Miss.- 22-year-old Zachary Stanford has been arrested in connection with the murder of his grandparents. Robert (79) and Peggy Faries (77) were found dead inside their home around 5:00 on Tuesday.
Rankin County deputies, in cooperation with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations, arrested Ocean Springs resident Zachary Alexander Stanford. Stanford is accused of murdering his grandparents.
He was pulled over in Magee for careless driving, and the Magee police officer noticed he had blood on his clothes. He is currently in jail in Rankin County.
Rankin County Sheriff Bryan Bailey told WAPT-TV that Stanford could be in court as soon as Thursday.
