The Powerball jackpot has risen to $700 million after no ticket matched all six numbers drawn on Monday night.
With the lump-sum option estimated at $352.3 million, the current Powerball prize is the ninth largest in the game’s history. It’s also the fourth jackpot to climb over half a billion dollars this calendar year.
Although no one walked away with the grand prize on Monday, tickets in Georgia and Colorado took home the $2 million Match 5+ Power Play Prize while players in California, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania got the $1 million Match 5.
The last time the Powerball jackpot was won was on Oct. 11 when a Californian hauled in $1.765 billion. Tickets cost $2 per play and can be purchased in Mississippi at any of these participating locations.
Wednesday’s drawing is set for 9:59 p.m. CT.
