JACKSON, MISS– Two things in life are certain: death and taxes. If you’d add a third to that list, it might be procrastination.
Today is the deadline to send in your tax return and like many, you have may procrastinated, or forgot.
The U.S. Postal Service is running extended hours today to help accommodate the tax deadline.
The following Mississippi post office locations will hold extended hours:
Columbus, Madison, Ridgeland, Southaven, Starkville and Vicksburg locations will all be open until 5:30pm.
Flowood, Hattiesburg, and Tupelo locations will be open until 6pm.
Jackson’s post office will be open until 7pm.
Check with your local post office about extended hours for the tax deadline.
