Possible Memphis Sighting of Myra Lewis: Two-Year-Old Still Missing

MEMPHIS, Tenn.–Just about a day after the FBI and Madison County authorities said they were expanding their search for two-year-old Myra Lewis to the Memphis area, there was a possible sighting of the child at a south Memphis motel.

Myra Lewis has been missing since March 1 from her home in Camden, in Madison County, where authorities and volunteers have conducted numerous, thorough searches. They have said at times they believed it was an abduction, the not, then just asked for the public’s help.

It was the public that called cops in Memphis. There were three different people who believed they say Myra Lewis with a man at the Discovery Inn on 3rd St. WMC TV reported that the owner of a day care next door was one of the ones to call, as was a motel employee.

The FBI was sent to check it out. Myra was not located.

The FBI and Madison County deputies have gotten calls from as far away as Washington state.

There is a $20,000 reward being offered for information that leads to Lewis being found. You may call the FBI at 601-948-5000 or the Madison County sheriff’s office at 601-859-2345.
