LAWRENCE COUNTY, MISS– Lawrence County deputies posted on Facebook Friday evening that they had received a call about something burning on the side of the road.
That something was a cross shaped structure on the side of the road in the Sontag community. While police are investigating and the FBI has been notified, it has not been officially called a cross-burning.
If you saw anything suspicious in the area Friday, give Lawrence County deputies a call.
