More than $2 million worth of cocaine was seized by authorities following a traffic stop in Mississippi.
The stop occurred Sunday when a Pontotoc County sheriff’s deputy pulled over Georgia native Dannie Thomas. A search of Thomas’s vehicle led to the discovery of over 100 pounds of the illicit substance.
The suspect is charged with drug trafficking. He is also reported to be on probation for committing similar crimes in Texas.
At this time, law enforcement officials have not provided further details.
