Taylorsville police are searching for suspects connected to a burglary at a local pharmacy.
On Tuesday, Taylorsville Drugs was broken into and ransacked by thieves authorities say were caught on surveillance camera. Police Chief Gabe Horn confirmed to that approximately $30,000 worth of drugs were stolen by the suspects.
“Our pharmacy was broken into last night. We are putting it back together today and hope to be open tomorrow. We will keep everyone posted” Taylorsville Drugs posted on Facebook Wednesday afternoon. “If you have a need, please come to the pharmacy and we will do our best to handle it on a case-by-case basis. We are limited as to what we can do at the moment. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
The pharmacy shelves have since been put back together and the drugstore opened back up to the public on Thursday at 10 a.m. Customers were commended by store management for flooding employees with kindness and support in the aftermath of the crime.
