A suspect has been identified in the case of a 10-year-old being killed in Coahoma County on Christmas Eve.
Demetrice Henderson is wanted for the murder of Al’Darius Nesbitt, who was riding around the downtown area of Friars Point on the night of Dec. 24 with his 14-year-old brother when gunfire was opened on the vehicle.
The Coahoma County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) reports that the 14-year-old managed to drive the car back to their father’s home after Nesbitt was shot twice. They then took Nesbitt to a hospital in Clarksdale, where he succumbed to his injuries.
