JACKSON, Miss.- An airplane with United Airlines had to make an abrupt stop in Jackson last night that wasn’t intended to land there.
The flight was from Chicago and on its way to New Orleans, but didn’t quite make it there because there was a maintenance issue with the plane.
Flight 1263 landed at Jackson-Medgar Wiley Evers International Airport around 9:30 p.m. Monday night.
United said no one was injured and they arranged for a second plane to fly to Jackson to continue the flight to New Orleans.
