JACKSON, Miss. — If you attend University of Mississippi Medical Center chances are all of your information was sent out to most of the student body there. Personal information such as grade point averages, addresses, telephone numbers, and even social security numbers were leaked.
The University’s accounting department attached that private date to a mass email which let students know about changes to the school’s health insurance. They were able to get rid of the emails, but there was still short window for the information to be download so students could still be at risk for identify fraud.
